Anesthesia Technician - Apple Hill Surgical Center - Full-Time - Day

Full-Time: 40 Hours/Weekly

M-F 6:00 am-2:30 pm & 8:00 am-4:30 pm rotation
 

General Summary

Performs a variety of duties to assist the Anesthesiologist/Nurse Anesthetist/Surgical team with clinical procedures. Prepares and sets up operating room with required supplies and equipment. Cleans equipment and rooms and restocks supplies and medications.

Essential Functions:

• Prepares and sets up operating room with required supplies and equipment.
• Cleans and stocks all operating rooms and supply carts with necessary anesthesia supplies and emergency drugs.
• Cleans and sterilizes all equipment used in the administration of anesthesia.
• Monitors departmental supply levels and orders supplies as necessary.

Common Expectations:

• Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
• Participates in educational programs and in-service/department meetings.
• Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.
• Attends meetings as required.
