Title: Android Developer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA - Hybrid
Position: Long Term Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Android applications using modern frameworks and best practices
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using Kotlin and/or Java
- Implement UI designs and ensure smooth user experience across devices
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Ensure app quality through unit testing and adherence to coding standards
Technical Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Android development
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin (preferred) or Java
- Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle
- Knowledge of MVVM / MVP architecture patterns
- Familiarity with Jetpack components (LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, Room)
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries
- Understanding of version control tools like Git
- Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles
