About the Role:
As a Senior Lead - Technology Initiative Manager at FIS, you will be responsible for managing plans, tasks, dependencies, and activities, ensuring the high-quality delivery of technology initiatives. The Digital and Platform Engineering organization is a dynamic group that delivers solutions that support the complex needs of our customers - both internal and external. You will be a key player in ensuring these critical solutions are delivered.
About the Team:
You will work within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team, driving innovation and excellence in fintech platform management and digital solutions. As a part of the FIS Digital and Platform Engineering team, you will work closely with partners in Engineering, Tech Product Management, Business and Operations to ensure successful delivery of our most important and complex initiatives.
What You Will Be Doing:
Program & Delivery Management
Own end-to-end project delivery for multiple initiatives across multiple teams or Value Streams
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and forecasts; adjust as priorities or dependencies change
Drive predictable delivery through proactive risk identification, mitigation planning, and issue escalation
Prioritization & Stakeholder Alignment
Partner with product owners, engineering leads, and business stakeholders to prioritize work based on value, capacity, and dependencies
Facilitate trade-off discussions and communicate delivery impacts and constraints
Manage and track external and cross-team dependencies to ensure alignment across platforms and teams
Communication & Reporting
Own communications to stakeholders and leadership, including status updates, delivery forecasts, risks, and milestones
Create clear artifacts such as dashboards, timelines, RAID logs, and executive summaries
Act as the central point of coordination between technical teams
What You Bring:
7+ years of experience in technical project or program management, preferably supporting digital or platform teams
Proven success managing multiple teams and complex delivery roadmaps
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to translate between technical and business audiences
Experience managing dependencies, risks, and delivery forecasts in dynamic environments
Effective presentation and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of the financial services industry and associated products.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, clear, concise, and professional.
Sound judgment in decision-making processes related to job tasks.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management in an organized, professional manner.
Team skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within the organization and externally.
Strong time management skills, attention to detail, and resourcefulness.

Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
