Position Summary: With a passion for marketing across Shopper Marketing and Loyalty strategy, this exciting role contribute to the development, execution and performance of paid vendor amplification efforts and loyalty-based communications and promotions.
This role serves to connect both B2B (Business to Business) and B2C (Business to Consumer) initiatives that lead to sales growth and the development of long-term relationships with the customers Giant serves and aspires to welcome across our omnichannel opportunities (in-store, eCommerce and 3 rd party sellers).
This highly visible role must partner Giant Food's commercial teams (ecommerce, merchandising, marketing, operations) and internal and external loyalty and partnership teams to represent Giant Food as well as ADUSA on both the full portfolio of shopper marketing cross-brand initiatives and loyalty offer promotions. Success is built on the back of excellent relationship building, analytical, and planning skills.

Planning & Execution- Partner with Omnichannel Promotions Manager to build a strategy for growing vendor-funded campaigns that amplify existing promotions through the use of omnichannel initiatives that span across print, traditional and digital environments.
- Contribute to the successful construction and execution of the Giant Food omnichannel commercial plan
- Create appropriate packaging of sellable initiatives, set pricing and manage the development of media kits, playbooks, and other sales collateral in partnership with other teams.
- Examine results aggressively to determine effectiveness through Excel and data visualization tools and summarize results for internal and external partners.
- Conduct periodic reviews to understand the commercial strategy of key competitors.
- Conduct tests and pilots in support of omnichannel commercial strategy and overall customer acquisition / retention.
Collaboration & Leadership- Participate in senior-level vendor meetings to promote investment and collaboration on omnichannel programs.
- Partner with ADUSA partners at scale level to develop campaign elements from creative through customer rollout.
- Collaborate with Giant Food eCommerce, merchandising and marketing teams to align work with customer insights and deliver a seamless customer experience both online and in-store.
- Utilize vendor summits, industry events / speaking engagements and other public relations initiatives to drive greater awareness and adoption of retail media solutions.
Operational Excellence- Support Omnichannel Promotions Manager in building, monitoring and adjusting tactics to support a defined financial plan for each category (sales, units, margin).
- Manage the implementation of the media monetization commercialization model including calendars, processes, and utilization of new and emerging media channels.
- Define and support continuous improvement efforts for the monetization and commercial teams.
What You Will Bring:- 2+ years' experience in any Marketing, Operations, Sales, eCommerce or Finance related roles (or equivalent education/internship experience)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Proficient in MS Office tools, advance level in Excel
- Strong organizational skills including prioritization, time management and meeting deadlines
- Takes a data driven approach to problem solving; uses analysis, reporting and forecasting to make informed business decisions
- Courage to test & learn continuously to optimize the shopping and partnership experience and process
Salary: $80,925 - $107,900
The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include, but are not limited to, responsibilities of the role, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable law. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
This position will be on-site at the Giant Food Headquarters in Hyattsville, MD.
