- Perform a variety of professional, operational, and analytical duties in support of group or unit activities; studies and research projects; gather and analyze data, make recommendations, and prepare reports on conclusions
- Provide financial support and analysis for operating & capital budgets to include tracking, reconciling, analyzing, forecasting, and reporting across 12 divisions and multiple funding sources
- Specialized financial support and analysis of outsourced departments (Fleet and Facilities)
- Revenue tracking, reconciling, analyzing, and reporting
- Assist with yearly budget process, supporting the Senior Analyst/Supervisor
- Assist in the analysis of “End of Life” projects to include development of the business case, management reviews, and white papers
- Develop content for Quarterly/Monthly financial reviews and reporting to Divisions, Senior Leadership, and Budget Coordinators
- Assist with Fire related accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions to include entering purchase requisitions, tracking purchase orders, administering change orders, and receiving invoices for payment
- Support contract management life cycle from the RFP to contract close-out
- Support Senior Business Support Specialist as needed and act as back up when required
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:Knowledge of:- Microsoft Teams to include file sharing, permission management, and facilitation of virtual meetings
- Microsoft Excel to include tabulation, data sorting/filtering, data organization for analytical purposes, data manipulation, and data presentation
Ability to:- Work collaboratively with leadership and execute defined plans in an independent manner and prioritize work accordingly
- Be highly organized and have excellent time management skills
- Manage multiple workstreams for multiple stakeholders
- Communicate confidently, effectively and efficiently (including email, presentations, virtual, and in-person communication)
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in finance, accounting, business administration, public administration, procurement, or related field
- One (1) year of full-time, professional experience in a related field
