Adventurous Journeys Capital Partners (“AJCP”) is seeking an Architecture & Development Analyst who is passionate about pursuing a career in the intersection of architecture and real estate to assist the Acquisitions and Development teams and support its rapid growth across various investment platforms focused on the hospitality, mixed-use, and single-family rental sectors.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Analyst, Architecture & Development will be responsible for shaping how design informs investment decisions across AJCP’s real estate platforms. Working at the intersection of architecture and acquisitions, this role evaluates opportunities, develops product concepts, and creates compelling visual narratives that support deal execution and enhance investment outcomes through design-driven thinking. This role provides direct exposure to senior leadership and the firm’s investment decision-making process.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Work in a fast-paced Acquisitions environment to analyze new opportunities from an architectural point of view
  • Review due diligence materials and prepare investment committee presentations
  • Create presentation materials such as masterplans, floor plans, massings, elevations, and other graphics/renderings
  • Source and lead creative processes to further define our built product across a variety of markets and asset classes, including an understanding of the deals/projects and proposing products that strongly align with investment theses and fit within AJ’s real estate platforms
  • Interact with the design and development teams on budgeting, zoning, and contracting matters
  • Interact and collaborate with multiple external architecture, design, and rendering firms during the development process
  • Develop relationships with department leads, assisting with various research projects for both historical and prospective investments
  • Assist with the design of presentation materials for executive review
  • Procure contracts and identify (and execute) third-party solutions for design work.
  • Utilize AI to facilitate our rendering process

  • Self-starter with the demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously across a range of projects at varying stages of execution
  • Strong proficiency in architectural representation and visualization
  • Advanced working knowledge of design software, including Revit, AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to efficiently identify and execute high-quality solutions
  • Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to learning all aspects of the real estate and design process
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous skill development, both technical and interpersonal
  • Strong organizational skills and work ethic

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related field
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Proficient in architectural representation software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp)
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in Architecture
