:Under the general supervision of the AMI Operations Manager, the AMI Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and validating the performance and data quality of the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) systems, including Compass MDMS, UIQ, and related reporting tools. The Analyst evaluates meter data, identifies communication issues, works with internal IT staff and external vendors, and ensures the accuracy and reliability of AMI data used for billing, customer service, and operational decision-making.
Because the Authority has a primary responsibility to serve the public 24 hours a day, an employee in this class is expected to work overtime as conditions demand and may be expected to accept overtime on short notice during emergency conditions or power outages.

Graduate of an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in information systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, minimum of three (3) years of experience in data analysis, IT systems, utility operations, metering, or similar technical environments. Experience with AMI systems, MDMS platforms, or networked utility systems preferred.
