About AirQuest Aviation

We are a fixed-base operator (FBO) with two locations including Pittsburgh-Butler Regional Airport (KBTP) and Beaver County Airport (KBVI). As a Western Pennsylvania FBO, AirQuest provides services in range of 48 US States, as well as the Bahamas and Canada. Our FBO was founded in 2007 by entrepreneur Stephen Muck. Since then, it has grown rapidly into the region's premiere FBO, providing luxurious charters, as well as ground, maintenance, flight school, and management services.

Key Responsibilities of an Aircraft Mechanic

• Identify mechanical issues and complete repairs efficiently to ensure aircraft readiness
• Carry out and document scheduled preventative maintenance
• Conduct both routine checks and annual aircraft inspections
• Perform diagnostics, repairs, overhauls, upgrades, system checks, and general servicing
• Complete additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications for an Aircraft Mechanic

• High school diploma or GED required
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience
• Experience working with piston aircraft, turboprops, or light business jets preferred
• Basic computer proficiency for diagnostics, reviewing manuals, and logging work orders
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Work Schedule

This role generally follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Some schedule flexibility may be necessary based on operational needs.
