We are seeking a commercially driven Engine Product Specialist to join our growing Engine Product Line team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an aviation aftermarket professional who thrives in a fast-paced trading environment and wants to build a long-term career in engine parts sales, purchasing, and asset management.
Key Responsibilities
Aviation Trading & Commercial Activity
- Source and develop opportunities to purchase and sell engine parts, modules, and whole assets.
- Manage incoming RFQs and provide competitive quotations to customers worldwide.
- Broker and trade engine components through AeroDirect's global customer and supplier network.
- Support sales growth through proactive business development and account management.
- Build strong relationships with airlines, MROs, leasing companies, OEMs, brokers, and trading partners.
Customer & Supplier Management
- Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships through regular communication and account development.
- Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and industry visits.
- Expand AeroDirect's network of suppliers and trading partners.
- Support strategic customer initiatives and commercial growth opportunities.
Inventory & Market Intelligence
- Maintain accurate market pricing, inventory data, technical notes, and cross-reference information.
- Analyse inventory performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
- Monitor market trends, supply chain developments, and competitor activity.
- Generate reports and data analysis to support purchasing and sales decisions.
Operational Support
- Coordinate repairs and manage sales backlogs.
- Work closely with Sales, Trading, Operations, and Logistics teams to ensure successful transaction execution.
- Support inventory management and asset disposition strategies.
Who we are looking for
- Previous experience within aviation aftermarket sales, engine parts trading, asset management, MRO, supply chain, leasing, or aviation distribution.
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships across a global customer base.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for aviation and business development.
- Results-oriented with a desire to exceed targets and drive growth.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Existing aviation industry network and engine product knowledge would be highly advantageous.
