AI/ML Engineer (python) - Direct hire/Perm - Startup - 100% Onsite

AI/ML Engineer — Full-Time | Boston Seaport (Everyone on the R&D team is on-site 5 days a week)

We're partnering with an exciting early-stage startup to find an AI/ML Engineer for a full-time, permanent role. Our client is building something ambitious, and they need a hands-on engineer who's as comfortable architecting data pipelines as they are training models.

The Role: You'll be embedded in a lean, high-velocity team where you'll own meaningful technical problems from day one — building the data infrastructure and ML systems that power their core product.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines for ML workloads
• Optimizing data ingestion, throughput, and processing efficiency
• Building, training, and deploying models using TensorFlow and PyTorch
• Working closely with engineering and product to move quickly from experimentation to production

What our client is looking for:

• Strong Python skills and fluency with the modern data stack
• Hands-on experience with TensorFlow and/or PyTorch
• Solid understanding of data pipeline architecture and best practices
• A self-starter mindset — comfortable with ambiguity and moving fast

Bonus: experience with distributed systems or streaming tools (Kafka, Spark, Airflow, etc.)
