The Opportunity
As part of the P&C Insurance Operations & Technology team you will design and deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions for insurance clients. As a Senior Manager you will lead large projects, innovate processes, and maintain operational excellence while interacting with clients at a significant level to drive project success. This role offers the chance to work at the forefront of agentic AI and cloud architecture, solving real problems for insurance carriers and shaping the future of the industry.
Responsibilities
- Innovate processes to enhance productivity and effectiveness in project delivery
- Address complex challenges in agentic AI and cloud architecture
- Develop intelligent automation strategies for modernizing Guidewire environments
- Work with teams to create multi-agent systems that improve underwriting and claims processes
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and exceptional standards
What You Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 8 years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or technical leadership with a focus on AI/ML
What Sets You Apart
- Master's Degree preferred
- Certification(s) preferred: GCP Professional Cloud Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Experience with insurance core systems such as Guidewire and Duck Creek
- Familiarity with regulated industries
- Designing multi-agent architectures
- Hands-on experience with vector databases
- Knowledge of GenAIOps tooling
- Published thought leadership in AI
- Possessing hands-on experience with at least two: Google Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock/SageMaker, Azure OpenAI Service/Azure ML
- Having practical experience with foundation models (GPT-4, Claude, Gemini, Llama), including RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and embedding strategies
- Demonstrating experience with LangGraph, LangChain, LangFlow, or similar orchestration frameworks; familiarity with MCP and A2A protocols
- Demonstrating experience using Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent AI-assisted development platforms
- Understanding of insurance business processes, data models, and regulatory landscape (P&C, Life, or Specialty lines)
- Having an in-depth foundation in statistics, machine learning, data engineering, and big data concepts
- Understanding of cloud security, landing zones, and AI cost optimization (FinOps)
- Experience working with technical leaders such as CIO, CTO, Head of AI, in framing strategic technical decisions around AI platforming
- Estimating projects and programs around AI from initial design to deployment to maintenance
- Communicating technical concepts cogently to senior and C-level stakeholders
The salary range for this position is: $124,000 - $280,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
