Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, following manufacturer's guidelines and company policies.
- Conduct inspections of aerospace components to identify and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Troubleshoot complex problems within sub-systems and propose effective solutions.
- Collaborate with a team of mechanics, engineers, and technical staff to ensure efficient workflow and task completion.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately, including log entries and required documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety and compliance standards.
- Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance technical skills and industry knowledge.
- Prepare aerospace equipment for routine inspections and regulatory audits.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-10+ years in the military or aerospace industries performing Technician tasks.
- A valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license is desired.
- Strong understanding of aircraft mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including components and functions.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving complex issues within sub-systems.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and industry standards related to aircraft maintenance and safety.
- Commitment to high-quality work with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills to convey technical information effectively.
- Physical fitness to perform tasks involving lifting, climbing, bending, and working in confined spaces.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance tracking systems is a plus.
