We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a Occupational Health Clinic team, for a local Contract. In this role, you will provide comprehensive primary care and specialized occupational health services to a diverse patient population, including employees across various industries.


Coverage Date - 8/17/2026 - 1/4/2027


Schedule

Coverage Needed for: Monday - Friday

Daily Hours: 7.5 hours

Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm

Lunch: 30 minutes (site closes for lunch at 12:30pm-1pm daily)


Responsibilities

-Primary Care experience and minimum 1 year as an autonomous provider.

-Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) client.

-Travel Medicine encounters

-Minor in-office procedures and testing: COVID testing (Rapid/PCR), Strep Throat, Influenza or Mono POCT testing, Splinter removal, Urinalysis/HCG testing and analysis, knowledge of preforming phlebotomy (MA on staff can perform phlebotomy but may need to occasionally preform if she is not available in office), administering nebulizer, and reading EKGs.

-Cerumen impaction removal, Eye care (eye wash available in office for foreign body), Pap Smears and STD testing, Breast examination, complete annual physical exams- referrals to appropriate physicians for preventative care, wound care (minor burns, cuts, blisters), evaluating acute musculoskeletal injuries and splinting minor injuries (wrist, fingers).

-Ability to evaluate, diagnosis, and prescribe treatments of acute and chronic illness.

-Administer vaccinations (TDAP, Shingles, travel vaccines upon request)/allergy shots (working collaboratively with patient's allergist) and educating patients regarding aftercare.


Qualifications

  • Education: Board Certified (preferred)/Board Eligible NP or PA
  • Licensure: Active New Jersey FNP or PA-C license.
  • National Certification: For FNP: Board certification (e.g., AANP, ANCC) required, with FNP. For PA-C: NCCPA certification (PA-C) is required.
  • Certifications/Authority: Current CPR/BLS required. Prescriptive authority and DEA license
  • Experience: Minimum 1.5 years of FNP or PA-C experience, ideally in outpatient clinic, urgent care, or occupational medicine.
