Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) - Primary Care NP or PA

Adena Health is seeking a full-time, school-based, primary care APP (Advanced Practice Provider - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join the Adena Family Medicine at the brand-new Warrior Wellness Center in Frankfort, OH! This APP will serve students, families, and the community surrounding Frankfort and Clarksburg, OH. The ideal candidate will be a qualified APP who has at least one year experience in primary care, be able to work independently, and who is passionate about children/school-based health.

Position Overview

As a school based, primary care APP (Advanced Practice Provider - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant), you will focus on direct patient care, providing clinical services, working in conjunction with collaborating physicians. Services include wellness visits, sports physicals, treating acute illness or injuries, immunizations, screenings, prescribing medications, chronic disease management such as asthma and diabetes, as well as addressing mental health and behavioral issues. APPs promote patient wellness via education of the patient, staff, and community.

This role is a full-time employed, year-round position within the multispecialty Adena Medical Group, offering a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits.

Schedule & Practice Details

• Office Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Provider Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, year-round
• Setting: Outpatient clinic in the Warrior Wellness Center
• EMR: Epic

Qualifications

• At least one year experience as an APP working in a primary care setting.

• Ability to work independently

Compensation & Benefits

• Sign-on Bonus: $10,000 (up to $30,000 based on experience)
• Relocation Assistance: Up to $15,000 in reimbursable expenses
• CME Allowance: $2,000 annually

• 6 weeks PTO (paid time off); prorated for new providers that start after January 1st.
