Scripps Mercy Hospital has served central and downtown San Diego since 1890 and is the oldest medical center in the county. The San Diego campus is located near the corner of 5th Avenue and Washington Street in Hillcrest.
Scripps Mercy Hospital consists of two campuses in San Diego and Chula Vista.
Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego’s campus includes the O’Toole Breast Care Center, a 24-hour emergency room that is a Level I Trauma Center, outpatient physical rehabilitation, minimally invasive robotic surgery and our childbirth unit (including a Level II neonatal intensive care unit).
This is a full-time, salaried position with variable day shifts, Monday through Friday, at our ambulatory clinics, primarily located at Scripps Mercy San Diego in Hillcrest. May rotate to other ambulatory clinic sites across the county. Includes $4,000 retention incentive and $3,000 relocation assistance to eligible new hires.

Located on the campus of Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego, Scripps Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacy Services is a system-wide team of Advanced Practice Pharmacists. This position would provide top-of-license clinical management to our Osteoporosis patient populations, but may also support Neurology, Cardiology, Primary Care or HIV. Understanding that the treatment of diseases extends beyond just medications, we focus on lifestyle and prevention counseling, in addition to the pharmacologic aspects of care. The aim is to get to know what is important to our patients, define a set of goals, and work together to achieve those goals and enhance a person’s overall quality of life. Scripps Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacy Services collaborate with physician specialists to assist with improving the long-term health and quality of life of our patients. The Advance Practice Pharmacist is key to providing care as it relates to patient medication needs.
