This job posting is for a full-time 12 month, unclassified, in-person staff position located on-site at our Bossier Campus.
Salary commensurate with credentials and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of work experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified, such as, evaluate and edit content of reports and other written materials, use independent judgement, manage, and impart information to colleagues and community, and fostered a cooperative work environment.
  • Two (2) years of working experience in customer service with strong use interpersonal and communication skills, and working effectively in a diverse community
  • One (1) year of work experience with computer information systems/data input; Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Banner.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have use of sensory skills in order to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through the use of the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear and handle or feel objects and controls.
  • Must have physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office equipment such as, but not limited to, personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine.
  • Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 10 pounds.
  • Must be capable of sitting in stationary position for 50% or more of time.

This position is responsible for assisting students through the enrollment process, maintaining and overseeing the degree audit system, processing incoming and outgoing college transcripts, reconciling daily reports, and supporting graduation processes. The role serves as a liaison for special enrollment cohorts and manages updates to the student information system, ensuring data accuracy, compliance with institutional policies, and a high level of student service.

  • Responsible for reconciling daily reports. Must be able to understand the crucial nature of the data and critically analyze it to resolve any issues.
  • Responsible for processing incoming and outgoing college transcripts and other enrollment documents, as well as evaluating nontraditional transfer credits and collaborating with Academic Deans to establish articulated college equivalents for prior learning.
  • Assist with degree audits and communicate results to students and academic advisors.
  • Assist the Director of Admissions/Registrar in graduation responsibilities, as needed:
    • Assists with the evaluation of student progress toward graduation.
    • Review academic records of graduation candidates to ensure they are fulfilling degree requirements per college regulations.
    • Communicate with divisions on missing candidate graduation approval forms, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Responsible for transcribing Industry-Based Credentials (IBCs) to student records, including accurately entering data into the IBC system and updating individual student records, where applicable.
  • Assist with reverse transfer processes, including identifying eligible students, coordinating transcript requests, and supporting degree conferral efforts.
  • Assist with academic renewal by reviewing eligibility, processing requests, and updating student records.
  • Serves as the liaison for special enrollment cohorts by evaluating student eligibility and ensuring all required enrollment documentation is collected and accurately entered into the student information system (i.e., National Student Clearinghouse, CNA, International Workforce)
  • Responsible for processing reinstatement and grade change requests from faculty.
  • Maintain knowledge of Immigration and Naturalization Service regulations pertaining to international students.
  • Responsible for assisting students throughout the enrollment process via front counter, email, text, phone, and other communication methods, while modeling the highest level of service to ensure access and support for all students and prospective students.
  • Supports Enrollment Management by maintaining a working knowledge of key areas including Financial Aid, Academic Advising, and Veteran Services in order to answer general student questions and connect them with the appropriate campus experts.
  • Participate in enrollment and registration events outside of normal working hours when required.
  • Maintain the commitment to Caring Campus standards and quality service that align with the primary mission of the institution.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Director of Admissions/Registrar.
