Join our Distribution Center Team as a Key Player in Inventory Accuracy and Operations Support!


We’re looking for a detail-driven, proactive team member to provide direct support to our Public Service Supervisor (PSS) and Inventory Specialist as an
Administrative Support Assistant 3. In this role, you’ll help keep our distribution center running smoothly by gathering and consolidating inventory data, reviewing specifications, and ensuring accuracy across all inventory processes. You’ll investigate discrepancies, recommend improvements, and help guide staff through correction plans to maintain high operational standards.


Other duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Track and verify inventory accuracy by calculating counts, labeling items, and generating receipts using designated software.
  • Perform quality control on all received and inventoried items, ensuring specifications and product conditions are met.
  • Work closely on a daily basis with the Purchasing staff, Customers, Vendors and the Warehouse Receiving and Distribution Teams.
  • Partner with customers to review specifications, support product evaluations, and address vendor-related concerns.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers by phone and email to resolve issues related to stock items

Applicants must meet at least one of the following minimum requirements to qualify for positions in this job classification:
  1. Two years of full-time work experience in general office, clerical, data entry/processing, or related work.
  2. A total of two years of education and/or full-time experience (as described in number one), where thirty semester hours of accredited college or university coursework in any field equals one year of full-time experience.
  3. Current, continuous experience in the state executive branch that includes six months of full-time work as an Administrative Support Assistant 2 or eighteen months of full-time work as an Administrative Support Assistant 1.
