Education
Substitution of education or equivalent combinations of education and experience may be qualifying for this position. Education substitution for FV-F: Successful completion of a 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree. Education substitution for FV-G: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related, OR a combination of education and experience. Education at the graduate level in an accredited college or university must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. Education substitution for FV-H: Not Applicable. To qualify based on education, you must submit a COPY of your college transcripts or certificates. Failure to do so will result in loss of consideration. If selected, official transcripts will be required prior to employment. Schools must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Accreditation may be verified at the following website: www.ed.gov/admins/finaid/accred/index.html. Foreign education must be evaluated by a private professional organization specializing in interpretation of foreign education credentials or an accredited U.S. educational institution in terms of equivalency to a degree acquired at an American college or university. A copy of the evaluation results must be included in your application package.
