  1. Provides administrative support to the division’s projects.
  2. Purchases supplies and services.
  3. Coordinates records management.
  4. Manages supply and equipment inventories.
  5. Manages site agreement documents.
  6. Greets the general public. Provides routine information or refers them to the appropriate information source.
  7. Prepares personnel forms as needed.
  8. Assists with payroll and mileage.
  9. Assists with grant development and preparation.
  10. Monitors and maintains employee contact and health record database.
  11. Answers telephone; takes messages and provides information to the public.
  12. Performs all other duties as assigned.
  • High school diploma or equivalent with three (3) years related experience.

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.

  • Must have good organization and communication skills.

  • Good command of the English language to include reading and writing.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

  • Proficient clerical and computer skills that include typing, word processing and spreadsheets.

  • Must be able to draft letters, memorandums, reports to include those using spreadsheet and other statistical packages.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interface with department staff, Tarrant County Staff, outside vendors, and the public and health/business community.

  • Must have the ability to handle a heavy workload and meet timelines, solving immediate issues at hand while dealing with many distractions.
