We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our Public Works Department. This confidential position plays a vital support role within a dynamic team dedicated to maintaining and improving our community's infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion. You will provide essential administrative support, coordinate department operations, and serve as a trusted resource for staff, management, and the public alike.
WORK SCHEDULE: City Hall hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Applicant must be available to work 40 hours per week. The work schedule is flexible upon approval of the department head.
Schedules range from:4/10 - Monday - Thursday
4/10 - Tuesday - Friday
5/8 - Monday - Friday

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Administrative Assistant I ($61,853 - $80,964 per year)– Equivalent to
graduation from high school and two years of responsible secretarial or office administrative experience.
Business or secretarial school training is desirable.Ability to type 50 wpm from a printed copy.
Administrative Assistant II ($75,183 - $98,413 per year)–Equivalent
to graduation from high school and four years of progressively responsible secretarial and office administrative experience.
Business or secretarial school training is desirable.Ability to type 50 wpm from a printed copy.

CANDIDATE SELECTION PROCESS1.
