Jacobs Levy Equity Management, an institutional asset manager located in Florham Park, NJ, is seeking a detail-oriented individual to work in our Client Service and Business Development Group. This administrative professional will work on a variety of projects, analyses, presentations, and letters to clients/consultants. General administrative skills are also required.
Responsibilities include:
- Help prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly client/consultant letters
- Prepare presentations using PowerPoint, ensuring presentations are accurate and consistent with business standards
- Update client database in a timely manner and communicate changes to team members; ensure information is accurate when new accounts are added
- Manage mailings, including books and letters, to clients and prospects; work with team members to manage other items sent to clients and prospects
- Manage departmental scheduling by coordinating meetings, reserving conference rooms as needed, and ensuring all meeting materials are recorded in tracking system.
- Coordinate travel arrangements as needed
- Provide support for ongoing and ad hoc client service deliverables
- Provide back up support to the receptionist as needed
This position requires a skilled professional who has exceptional attention to detail, is organized, and is a good communicator. Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of related experience in a corporate office environment, preferably in the finance industry
- Excellent computer skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to accurately input and manage data
- Attention to detail
- Professional approach in dealing with all levels of management
- Ability to multitask and work independently, yet take direction and follow established procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
When determining the actual base salary offered to successful candidates, various factors will be considered, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and qualifications for the role, as well as level of education attained, certifications, and other professional licenses held. The expected base salary for this position is $70,000-$85,000. In addition to base salary, benefits include discretionary bonus plans, health, dental and other wellness plans, contributions to profit-sharing and 401(k) plan, paid time off, and more.
