Essential Functions:
Deliver instruction in accordance with a pre-designed course curriculum, adhering to established content, assessments, and instructional guidelines.
Provide appropriate and timely feedback for all course assignments.
Consistently manage and update student grades in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to university policies and deadlines.
Actively foster student success, with particular attention to the academic needs and challenges of non-traditional students.
Create a positive online learning environment through effective and regular communication with students, assessment feedback, and course management.
Respond to departmental inquiries and emails, typically within one business day, and maintain professional communication with students, staff, faculty, and administrators.
Complete all required training by the specified department or university deadline.
Submit all required syllabi and related course materials through the university’s designated platform on time.
Minimum Qualification
M.A. or Ph.D. in Communication, Sports Management, or in a related field pertinent to the courses topics offered from an accredited college or university.
Two or more years of experience teaching in the above field at the college level.
Skilled in the use of Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) or other learning management systems.
Proven track record of undergraduate online teaching experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of online instructional methodologies.
