Examples of Duties

JOB SUMMARY
Ramapo College of New Jersey is searching for an Adjunct Professor of Biology to teach one or two sections on an as needed basis. Courses may include Introduction to Biology and Fundamentals of Biology (Lecture and Lab).

Successful candidates may also include topics related to their specialization. Attach resume, cover letter, letter discussing teaching philosophy, C.V., and sample syllabi. Adjuncts are hired on an as needed basis.

Compensation:
Fall 2025/Spring 2026 Semesters- $2,100 per credit

Organizational Security Responsibilities: This position requires adherence to the organization's
information security policies and procedures. All employees share responsibility for protecting the
confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the organization’s mission essential IT assets, regardless of
role. Individuals in this role are expected to apply appropriate safeguards, participate in required security
awareness training, and promptly report potential security incidents in accordance with institutional
policies.

Qualifications

Candidates must have either a Masters, Ph.D. in biology or related areas or advanced ABD status.
