Primary duties of adjunct faculty include teaching courses in the approved discipline, providing instruction to facilitate student acquisition of the specific learning outcomes identified for the assigned courses, as well as mentoring students in and outside of the classroom. The adjunct faculty member creates and maintains an effective learning environment in the modalities of the courses assigned, be they face-to-face, hybrid, online, or within the context of dual credit instruction. All faculty members are expected to maintain familiarity with and adhere to College policies and procedures.
Preferred duties include experience in turf grass management and/or maintenance, experience developing culinary education, curriculum planning, development, evaluation and testing. Advanced level knowledge in food preparation and culinary education. 3 or more years of teaching or training experience in culinary arts.
Responsibilities include teaching accounting courses at a variety of times and locations, such as Principles of Financial Accounting, Principles of Managerial Accounting, Introduction Accounting, Introduction to Computerized Accounting, Accounting Internship, Computer Accounting Applications, Cost/Payroll Accounting. This position will require the use of instructional technology within the curriculum and in the classroom. Maintain good rapport with students, ensure students are prepared for Prometrics certification exam, provide hands-on training in clinical lab skills covering each of the required Prometrics skills.
