General Summary: Adjunct Information Systems Instructor to teach individuals in Missouri correctional facilities located in Southeast Missouri. The candidate will be responsible for teaching Introduction to Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint in a face-to-face and hybrid format. Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Complete assigned teaching load.
Deliver classroom lectures using effective, evidence-based teaching strategies by facilitating student learning through interactive activities, assignments, projects, discussion, and other activities as appropriate for the course.
Evaluate student performance.
Identify students requiring academic intervention and refer to appropriate support services.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Required
Master’s degree preferred.
Microsoft User Specialist Certification preferred
Teaching experience preferred
Experience with Certiport Exam delivery, proctoring, and the certification process.
