Adjunct - History Lecturer

• Instruct History survey courses (including World History to 1500, World History since 1500, and/or US History since 1877).
• Develop and manage course syllabus and materials
• Develop and manage an online course site in the college's LMS, Blackboard Learn
• Maintain records of attendance and student performance
• Submit attendance and grades as required by the college

• Master’s degree from an accredited institution in History or
• Master’s degree in a closely related field with 18 credits of history at the graduate level

• 1-2 years of teaching experience

• Design and deliver effective instruction
• Assess student learning and incorporate findings into course delivery
• Utilize a learning management system to supplement face-to-face instruction
• Support and encourage students in a civil and welcoming classroom climate
