Adjunct - Applied Laboratory Tech Faculty

This position instructs courses for the Applied Laboratory Technician program. This person should have experience in quality control laboratory practices. Also seeking candidates with experience in analytical instrumentation, laboratory work in biology/microbiology or industrial microbiology. Candidates should be able to prepare syllabus and course materials.

• Prepare syllabus and course materials.
• Instruct lecture and labs.
• Prepare online course material to support instruction.
• Keep attendance and grade records.
• Report mid-term and final grades by deadlines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in quality control, chemistry, biology, environmental science or other related sciences.

Experience

• 1-3 years experience quality control laboratory or testing experience or chemical manufacturing experience.
• 1-3 years instruction for adult learners.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to instruct adult learners with 1- 3 years experience teaching or training adults in either an academic or industry training setting.

Adjunct pay dependent on degree level.
