  • Proposal and ROI Development: Contribute to the development of technical proposals, ROI analyses, and strategic workflow recommendations that support enterprise additive initiatives and customer decision-making.
  • Enterprise Additive Program Support: Develop and maintain structured enterprise additive program frameworks that include workflow design, process documentation, implementation support, troubleshooting assistance, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Technical Publications and Documentation: Create technical whitepapers, case studies, engineering reports, and internal documentation that showcase Designfusion’s additive expertise and customer outcomes.
  • Enterprise Expansion Support: Contribute technical knowledge to support the growth of strategic additive initiatives within emerging and existing accounts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and leadership teams to ensure alignment between technical solutions, customer objectives, and program execution.

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Engineering, Additive Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of additive manufacturing processes, materials, part design, and production workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with industrial 3D printing technologies, including part setup, print preparation, workflow development, and post-processing.
  • Ability to conduct detailed technical assessments, analyze data, and develop engineering recommendations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, customer-ready documentation.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, especially when supporting multiple enterprise accounts simultaneously.
  • Experience working directly with customers in a technical support, application engineering, or enterprise consulting capacity.
  • Proficient in creating technical documentation such as whitepapers, case studies, workflow diagrams, and engineering reports.
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM tools, part analysis tools, and additive manufacturing software platforms is a plus.
  • Experience supporting pre-sales technical evaluations, solution validation, or enterprise application engineering initiatives is highly preferred.

What We’re Looking For

  • A technically driven and highly motivated professional who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges while supporting enterprise-level customers in a consultative, customer-facing role.
  • Strong technical expertise paired with a sales-oriented mindset, with the ability to support pre-sales activities, communicate Designfusion value, and deliver clear engineering recommendations aligned with customer goals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and high emotional intelligence, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with engineering teams, operators, and leadership at customer sites.
  • A proactive self-starter who works effectively both independently and collaboratively with strategic account leadership and cross-functional teams.
