Education: High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
Licensure: Must be eligible for state pharmacy technician registration in local state.
Experience: One or more years of pharmacy experience or relevant medication and patient handling experience.
Additional community/retail pharmacy experience is preferred.
Certifications: Eligible for PTCB Pharmacy Technician Certification within 6 months of start.

- Working knowledge of drug names, drug routes of administration, and doses for both legend and over the counter medications.
- Ability to access hospital based and web based databases and software to collect and record data.
Preferred Education: Bachelors degree in health-related field
