Are you an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for education, leadership, and improving patient care? We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to support and develop nursing staff in a dynamic acute care environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical education and support to new hires, experienced staff, and students
Plan, implement, and evaluate orientation programs, staff development, and continuing education
Serve as a clinical mentor and resource for nursing staff, supporting complex patient care and medication administration
Act as a liaison between nursing teams and leadership, ensuring clear communication and collaboration
Identify clinical practice gaps through data analysis and implement targeted improvements
Support the adoption of evidence-based practices, new protocols, and clinical innovations
Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and accreditation standards
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits
Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Alaska (unencumbered)
Nursing degree required (BSN preferred)
Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Minimum 5+ years of RN experience in acute care (preferred)
