Acrylic Glass Buffer /Polishing Technician

OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented
Finishing Technicianto join a production team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to transform raw, machined, or scratched acrylic into crystal-clear pieces using various buffing, sanding, and polishing techniques.
What You’ll Do- Surface Restoration:Use wet and dry sanding techniques (progressing from coarse to ultra-fine grits) to remove saw marks, scratches, and burrs.
- Buffing & Polishing:Operate high-speed buffing wheels and handheld rotary tools with specialized polishing compounds to achieve a high-luster, "optical" finish.
- Quality Control:Inspect finished parts under high-intensity lighting to ensure they are free of hazing, swirls, or imperfections.
- Material Care:Manage heat buildup during the polishing process to prevent warping or "crazing" (micro-cracking) of the acrylic.
- Maintenance:Keep your workspace and polishing equipment clean to avoid cross-contamination of grit and compounds.
Requirements- No Experience necessary, will train. Experience as a car detailer is beneficial
- Attention to detail; you can spot a smudgesor scratches
- Steady hands and the patience required for repetitive, high-accuracy work.
- Familiarity with power tools (buffers, sanders, grinders) and an understanding of how different compounds affect plastic surfaces is beneficial
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks requiring manual dexterity.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $15.00 - $16.00 Per Hour
