Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, communicating professionally with customers, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances. The ideal candidate brings prior AR or collections experience, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOther duties may be assigned.Monitor assigned segments of the accounts receivable aging report and follow up on past-due balancesContact customers via phone and email to collect outstanding invoices in a professional and courteous mannerReceive and respond to inbound customer inquiries and payment-related requestsCommunicate with dispatch and customer service teams regarding customer credit status and account holdsMonitor customer credit limits and update the system as neededCreate, maintain, and update customer account information accuratelyInvestigate, resolve, and document invoice discrepancies in a timely mannerAdjust and reconcile customer accounts as necessaryCollaborate proactively with satellite operations to ensure timely and accurate billing informationAssist with special projects and process improvements as assigned

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boynton Beach, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
