Accounts Receivable Analyst

*This is an on-site position located in Shreveport, LA*

Prolec GE designs, manufactures, and sells products and solutions for the generation, transmission, and distribution of electric energy. With more than 50 years’ experience in the industry, Prolec GE is an important player in the Mexican market and a key participant in the rest of the Americas, with business units in Mexico, the United States, and Brazil.

The A/R Analyst will Monitor the daily activities of the accounts receivables portfolio by collecting payments from customers and applying those payments to respective invoices, In order to mitigate the company's loss exposure and help maximize the business profits.

• Responsible for invoicing in LN for both entities where invoicing is not automated
• Enters invoices into customer portals for payments
• Email/phone correspondence; collection work
• Handles customer POD requests
• Follows up with portal issues for customer accounts
• Creates open item reports for customers
• Assists with sales reconciliations
• Participate in Financial statement reconciliations

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelors degree required
• 3-5 years previous A/R experience
• Strong communication skills
