ITW Electronics Assembly Equipment (a division of Illinois Tool Works, Inc. Position Purpose

This role provides administrative and accounting support to the Shared Services Group, with a primary focus on accounts payable processing and credit card transactions. The position plays a key role in ensuring accurate, timely financial operations and maintaining strong internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Processing

• Process credit card transactions through online platforms
• Enter and process non-ERS (Evaluated Receipt Settlement) invoices
• Review and analyze freight files from third-party providers
• Process employee expense reports in Concur

Reconciliation & Reporting

• Post and reconcile Concur-related entries
• Perform monthly account reconciliations
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis as needed

Compliance & Documentation

• Support and maintain the 1099 reporting process
• Ensure accurate recordkeeping in compliance with company policies and retention requirements

Support & Continuous Improvement

• Assist with special projects and reporting as needed
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and efficiency

Qualifications

Education

• Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 2–4 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
• Working knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Familiarity with Concur or similar expense management systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Physical requirements and working conditions:

• Primarily desk-based role with regular computer use
• May require extended periods of sitting and working at a computer

Compensation Information:

The pay rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience. The range for this position is :$24.50 - $28.00 (Hourly).
