Job Details

Accounts Payable Clerk (3-Month Contract Engagement)
Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to support a fast-paced, multi-entity organization within the automotive, collision repair, and fabrication space. This is a 3-month contract opportunity with an immediate start, focused on high-volume invoice processing and day-to-day AP operations.

This role is highly hands-on and volume-driven, ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, transactional environment and can quickly step in to support an active workflow.

Key Responsibilities:
Process a high volume of vendor invoices, including both paper-based and digital entries
Perform accurate data entry into QuickBooks (primary system) and assist with entries in the DMS as needed
Execute two-way and three-way matching (invoice, PO, receipt)
Review invoices for accuracy, proper coding, and approvals
Assist with vendor management, including responding to inquiries and resolving discrepancies
Ensure timely processing of invoices to support accurate and on-time payments
Maintain organized records and documentation for audit and internal tracking purposes

Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of Accounts Payable experience
Strong experience in high-volume, manual / data-entry-heavy environments
Proficiency with QuickBooks (required)
Experience with DMS systems is a plus
Solid understanding of AP processes, including matching and invoice workflows
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work efficiently under tight timelines and shifting priorities
Strong organizational and time management skills

Compensation & Details:
Duration: 3-month contract
Pay Rate: $20–$30/hour (commensurate with experience)
Schedule: Full-time, onsite preferred
Start Date: Immediate (this week or immediately next week)
