Role Description

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Accounting/Payroll Clerk to support our day-to-day accounting, payroll, and HR functions. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who is organized, dependable, and eager to learn. This role includes payroll support, employee onboarding assistance, customer payment posting, accounts payable support, and general accounting tasks. Payroll and HR experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.

Key Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll and monthly commissions with support from management
• Assist with HR administration including onboarding, employee updates, and employee records
• Post customer payments and maintain accounts receivable records
• Assist with collections follow-up on past due accounts as needed
• Help with light sales tax reporting and filing support
• Support accounts payable processing including invoice entry and vendor communication
• Maintain vendor files and employee records
• Assist with general accounting tasks and daily office support as needed

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of accounting, payroll, AP/AR, or office experience preferred
• Payroll and HR experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable learning accounting systems and software (NetSuite experience is a plus)
• Strong communication skills and professionalism
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
