Staff Accountant (Hybrid – North Phoenix)
Location: North Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 remote)
Compensation: $65,000 – $85,000 base salary
Our client, a growing and collaborative organization based in North Phoenix, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. What You’ll Do
- Support the month-end close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Perform variance analysis and ensure accuracy across financial reporting
- Assist with process improvements, system enhancements, and special projects
- Partner cross-functionally to improve accounting workflows and reporting accuracy
- Help strengthen internal controls, procedures, and documentation
- Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented environment with evolving priorities
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0–2+ years of accounting experience (public accounting or industry)
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles
- Experience with account reconciliations and financial analysis
- Advanced Excel skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
