Account Manager-Wayfair

The Account Manager will play a critical role in accelerating Dorel’s growth on Wayfair by driving a best-in-class supplier partnership. This individual will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities and executing strategies that improve sales, profitability, and the overall customer experience within the juvenile category.


The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for Wayfair and will work cross-functionally with internal teams including Marketing, Site Experience, Product, Forecasting, and Operations. This role requires a strong understanding of Wayfair’s platform, a data-driven approach to decision-making, and the ability to translate insights into actionable plans that drive performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day relationship with Wayfair, acting as a strategic partner to drive mutual business growth
  • Optimize the digital shelf by improving product availability, content quality, pricing competitiveness, and promotional effectiveness
  • Monitor key performance metrics (sales, conversion, availability, margin) and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Identify and execute growth opportunities through assortment expansion, pricing strategies, and promotional planning
  • Partner closely with Wayfair to improve in-stock rates and inventory health to support a best-in-class customer experience
  • Lead forecasting efforts and align cross-functionally to ensure accurate demand planning and inventory flow
  • Collaborate with Forecasting & Replenishment teams to drive alignment on sales expectations and inventory strategies
  • Support joint business planning discussions with Wayfair, including performance reviews and forward-looking strategy
  • Recommend distribution, pricing, and promotional strategies based on data, customer behavior, and market trends
  • Leverage brand positioning to strengthen visibility, conversion, and customer engagement on Wayfair
  • Monitor competitive trends and marketplace activity to inform pricing and merchandising decisions
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure operational excellence and a seamless customer experience
  • Drive continuous improvement in shipments, net sales, and market share
  • Support key account meetings with data-driven insights, performance updates, and growth initiatives
  • Manage pricing execution for both existing assortment and new product launches
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and internal partners to support digital content, merchandising, and growth initiatives
  • Assist in managing trade investments to maximize ROI and deliver profitable growth


Education, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in eCommerce, account management, or digital sales
  • Direct experience managing the Wayfair account or similar online marketplace required
  • Strong understanding of Wayfair’s platform, including ordering, forecasting, and performance metrics
  • Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate insights into action
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with both internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Self-starter with a proactive, ownership mindset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to travel (20–40%)
