We serve the residential new construction, replacement, and light commercial segments of the HVAC industry in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New York, West Virginia, and Virginia.

About the Role

Do you have Account Management experience, and are you seeking a new job in Syracuse, New York? HVAC Distributors, Inc. is looking for a full-time Account Manager to join their team. The role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package, including a company car with a gas card.

Responsibilities

• Develop an annual Territory Plan in conjunction with the Regional Manager.
• Define sales strategies and action plans for identified target accounts and prospects within the territory.
• Establish new residential dealers and light commercial contractor accounts.
• Grow sales volume with current accounts.
• Maximize share of customers’ equipment spend.
• Ensure personal face-to-face contact and continuous improvement of rapport and productive relationships with decision-makers in all classes of customers and prospects in the assigned territory.
• Manage the process to convert dealers to company equipment brands and ensure achievement of all related internal and external deliverables, including assignment of pricing, dealer levels, services, and training.

Qualifications

• 5 years of Account Management experience.
• 3 years of sales experience selling to contractors would also be beneficial.

Required Skills

• Previous account management experience.
• Articulate and well accustomed to a client-facing role.
• Willingness and ability to travel.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the HVAC,. Plumbing, Lighting or similar industry.
