Most sales roles expect you to figure things out on your own or spend months cold-calling with little visibility. This isn’t that.
In this role, you’ll step into active Public Sector accounts from day one, supporting real client conversations, working on RFP-driven opportunities, and learning how complex deals actually come together. You’re not starting from zero, but you are expected to take ownership quickly.
The first 60-90 Days:
- Sitting on live client conversations with universities, school districts, and local government organizations
- Supporting and learning structured RFP processes (a critical skill in public sector sales)
- Partnering with recruiters to deliver on active roles
- Following up with clients and candidates, this is a high-touch, relationship-driven environment
- Starting to identify and build your own opportunities once you understand the business
- Travel to client sites and industry events to strengthen relationships and grow business (Once a month or every other month for a few days at a time)
