Capstone IT is seeking an experienced IT staffing sales professional to engage with and expand some of our current strategic client relationships and drive new business and across the Northwest Arkansas and Springfield, MO markets. This role is estimated to be 50% focused on growing current client relationships and 50% new business development - ideal for a proven IT staffing Account Executive or Business Development professional who thrives on building relationships, developing strategic accounts, and delivering high-impact talent solutions.
Unlike traditional staffing firms, Capstone’s portfolio offers both IT staffing and technology consulting solutions, creating larger opportunities and deeper client partnerships. You will own the full sales lifecycle—from prospecting and territory development to closing and account expansion—while partnering with a high-performing recruiting team to deliver exceptional talent to our clients.
What You’ll Do
- Drive new business development and strategic account growth in the NWA and Springfield, markets
- Build and execute a territory sales strategy targeting enterprise and mid-market companies
- Prospect through calls, LinkedIn, networking, and referrals to create new opportunities
- Lead discovery meetings with IT leaders, hiring managers, and executive stakeholders
- Position Capstone IT as a strategic partner for IT talent and workforce solutions
- Sell contract staffing, contract-to-hire, and direct hire services
- Identify opportunities to also introduce Capstone’s IT consulting and solutions capabilities
- Partner with recruiting leadership to deliver top-tier technical talent
- Manage pipeline, activity tracking, and forecasting in CRM
- Negotiate terms and manage offers through successful placement
- Stay informed on technology hiring trends and competitive staffing landscape
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of IT staffing sales experience (Account Executive, Business Development, or Account Manager)
- Proven success in new client acquisition and territory development
- Experience selling contract staffing, contract-to-hire, or professional services in this market
- Strong understanding of technology roles and hiring needs
- Ability to build relationships with IT leaders, Directors, and VPs of organizations
- Experience partnering with recruiters to deliver talent quickly and effectively
- Highly self-motivated with a metrics-driven sales approach
