Job Title: Accelerometer Calibration Technician

Location: Chatsworth, Onsite

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Optional Overtime)

Salary: $30-35 per hour, depending on experience (DPE)

Position Overview:

We are looking for experienced an Calibration Technician specializing in Accelerometer Calibrations. You'll ensure the accuracy and reliability of clients' measurement instruments, requiring precision, organization, and communication.


Responsibilities:

  • Calibrate, verify, and adjust accelerometers and related dynamic sensors.
  • Use vibration shakers, signal conditioners, and precision equipment to conduct calibrations.
  • Generate calibration certificates and documentation in accordance with standards.
  • Maintain and verify reference standards used in accelerometer calibration.
  • Assist in troubleshooting equipment and ensuring compliance with technical procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineers and quality personnel to support technical audits and continuous improvement initiatives


Requirements and Skills:

  • Must have proven Accelerometer Calibration experience.
  • Military PMEL/TMDE/DOD training and familiarity with ISO 17025 standards preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to meet deadlines effectively.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. for potential onsite customer visits
  • Valid driver’s license, clean record, and U.S. citizen or permanent resident required.
