The Work That Happens After Midnight - Overnight crisis work is different.

Calls are fewer - but often heavier. Decisions matter more. Support must be steady, thoughtful, and right the first time. If you do your best work when things are quiet but critical, this role was built for you.

As an Overnight 988 Crisis Intervention Specialist, you are not the first voice on the line - you are the clinical anchor behind the scenes. You support Crisis Specialists in real time as they respond to people reaching out through the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline via phone, chat, and text.

  • Offer post-contact debriefing and constructive feedback that helps staff grow
  • Step into queue coverage during volume spikes to keep wait times down
  • Support onboarding and skill development for newer staff
  • Participate in trainings, case reviews, and quality improvement work

Who This Role Works Best For

You’ll likely thrive here if you:

  • Prefer overnight schedules and work well with autonomy
