5G RF Optimization Engineer- Strong hands-on experience in Python scripting/ coding

We are seeking candidates with Strong Python scripting/ coding and RAN Fundamental experience to join a leading wireless network team in Plano, TX.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Parameter optimization trials for the RAN performance improvement
- New feature enablement and trial to optimize the parameters to get the best performance from the feature
- Network KPI monitoring and analysis to measure the improvement of the trial
- Initial analysis of Network KPI degradation to quantify and qualify the issue
- Be able to proactively perform Ad-hoc/periodic parameter audit, issue signature audit and SW/FW audit
- Collect logs and perform log analysis for discussions with customers/internal
- Collaborate with other engineering teams and drive for issue resolution along with other teams
- Ensure the latest ticket status is provided to the customers
- Software and patch upgrades on network element to support feature testing and issue resolution verification
- Provide 24X7 support as needed for commercial Network outages and network performance issues. Also provide technical reviews and provide support to customers as needed
Education, Work experience and necessary Skills & Attributes:
- Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunication or Network Engineering or Computer Engineering with at least 2 years of experience in Wireless Telecom environment or Masters Degree in Telecommunications or Network Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- Good knowledge of 4G and 5G wireless network architecture concepts, RAN protocols and eNB/gNB interfaces
- QoS concepts
- Good Knowledge in RF concepts
- Good knowledge of IP Networking
- Good knowledge of UNIX/LINUX operating systems
- Good Scripting skills using but not limited to Python, Shell or Perl
- Strong knowledge of MS office tools like Excel, power point and Word.
- Good analytical skills to investigate and evaluate trending data for issue resolution
- Good knowledge of trouble ticket and knowledge management systems
- Willing to work during nights to accommodate debugging involving offshore R&D teams
