Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in high-quality printing and packaging solutions, is seeking a Press Assistant  2nd Shift to join their dynamic team. As a Press Assistant  2nd Shift, you will be an integral part of the production department supporting the press operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to safety and quality standards, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Press Assistant - 2nd Shift

Location: St Petersburg, FL

Pay Range: $18.70

Shift: 2nd Shift

What's the Job?

• Assist the Press Operator to meet production, quality, and safety goals.
• Inspect materials and products for defects, ensuring conformance to specifications.
• Support product changeovers and prepare components for the next production run.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment around the machinery.
• Support corporate programs such as 5S, ISO, SMED, Preventive Maintenance, Sustainability, and GMP.

What's Needed?

• Ability to read, understand, and follow schedules, instructions, and job tickets.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to perform activities such as lifting, balancing, and moving materials.
• Criminal background check via Enhanced Nationwide Search (Database).
