5068 Press Assistant I (TC - 3rd Shift)

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in high-quality printing and packaging solutions, is seeking a Press Assistant to join their dedicated team. As a Press Assistant  3rd Shift, you will be an integral part of the production department supporting the press operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and excellent teamwork skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Press Assistant  3rd Shift

Location: St Petersburg, FL

Pay Range: $18.4

Shift: Third Shift

What's the Job?

• Assist the Press Operator to meet production, quality, and safety goals.
• Inspect materials and products for defects, ensuring conformance to specifications.
• Support product changeovers and prepare components for the next production run.
• Maintain a clean and organized machine and surrounding area.
• Support corporate programs such as 5S, ISO, SMED, Preventive Maintenance, Sustainability, and GMP.

What's Needed?

• Ability to read, understand, and follow schedules, instructions, and job tickets.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to perform activities such as lifting, balancing, and moving materials.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes is preferred.
