Mixer Operator – 3rd Shift $22-25/hr

Job Summary

As a Mixer Operator, you will be responsible for accurately mixing and blending food products in accordance with production specifications and food safety standards. This role includes hands-on operation of blending and screening equipment across multiple processing rooms, detailed documentation, and strict adherence to quality, safety, and cGMP requirements. This is a physically active, detail‑driven role on an overnight shift in a regulated food production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately assemble ingredients per blending sheets and record all data on production paperwork
  • Properly set up, calibrate, and operate industrial scales (powering on, calibration with weights, taring)
  • Read, verify, and document product codes, lot numbers, and paperwork
  • Operate production equipment including:
    • Belts
    • Swecos
    • Comils
    • Metal detectors
  • Select and install appropriate screens for Swecos and Comils
  • Perform CCP checks per SOPs, document findings, and correct non‑compliance issues
  • Complete quality checks to confirm product meets established sight standards
  • Stack boxes neatly and safely for palletizing
  • Maintain a strong food safety culture, including food defense, quality standards, and cGMP compliance
  • Obtain and maintain stand‑up forklift certification

Required Qualifications

  • 6 months to 1 year of food production experience (mixing, blending, or compounding preferred)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift
  • Ability to read and follow detailed recipe lists with precise measurements
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Willingness to work in an overnight (3rd shift) production environment

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Prior experience in food production or manufacturing
  • Knowledge of:
    • Packaging, packing, bagging, palletizing
    • Food handling and sealing processes
    • Sanitization and cleaning procedures
  • Familiarity with quality and food safety standards

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
