About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support the operation, upkeep, and repair of production equipment and facility machinery. This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, completing repairs, and ensuring machinery operates safely and efficiently to minimize downtime.



Responsibilities

  • Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Inspect, clean, disassemble, and reassemble machine components as needed during maintenance and repair activities
  • Apply lubricants and perform routine servicing of mechanical systems and moving parts
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and determine the root cause of operational issues
  • Repair mechanical equipment in a timely manner to reduce production interruptions
  • Identify worn, damaged, or defective components and document findings
  • Procure and install replacement parts as required to maintain equipment functionality
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair logs, and service reports
  • Organize and maintain maintenance work areas, tools, spare parts inventory, and supplies
  • Partner with operations and management teams to coordinate maintenance schedules and equipment downtime
  • Assist with equipment modifications, upgrades, and installation of new machinery to support operational needs
  • Perform equipment testing and validation following repairs, modifications, or installations
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and management teams to implement process improvements and equipment enhancements
  • Adhere to all company safety procedures and maintenance standards
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

Qualification

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
  • Able to repair automated production equipment, including PLC's.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skill
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and perform effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
