NATURE OF WORK
Under the general supervision from the Crisis Services Supervisor, the Crisis Therapist is responsible for providing face-to-face via telehealth crisis intervention and assessment services to individuals determined in need of this service by Law Enforcement, Hospital Emergency Department Personnel and Jails/Detention Centers in Darke, Miami and Shelby counties. All procedures related to the crisis intervention and assessment including, but not limited to, understanding the presenting crisis, assessing person’s safety risk, performing mental status evaluations, identifying treatment needs and level of care and establishing a crisis plan detailing referrals and linkages to appropriate services are key components of this position. Upon resignation, this position requires three weeks prior notice submitted to the Crisis Services Supervisor, CEO, and HR.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
The Mobile Crisis Therapist must be licensed and qualified in accordance with state standards. Minimum licensure LSW- Licensed Social Worker, or LPC-Licensed Professional Counselor. Must be willing to provide licensure supervision if licensure includes training supervision designation.
