3D Artist
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40 hours/week)
Location: On-site / In-house (Marietta GA)
Status: Ongoing Contract (Potential for Contract-to-Hire)
About the Role
We are seeking a talented 3D Artist to join our team in-house. In this role, you will be responsible for bringing iconic licensed properties to life. You will work across the entire creative pipeline, developing 3D models for both initial concepts and final production.
This is a full-time position based on-site at our office. While this begins as a contract engagement, there is potential for the role to transition into a permanent position based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality 3D models of licensed characters and properties for concept development and production.
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure brand accuracy and high-fidelity modeling.
- Manage the full 3D workflow, from initial sculpts to UV mapping and texture baking.
- Prepare files for production, ensuring all models meet technical specifications for manufacturing.
Technical Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate high proficiency in the following software:
- Maya
- ZBrush
- Marmoset Toolbag
- Rizom UV
- Prusa Slicer
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Proven experience in 3D modeling, preferably within the toy, collectibles, or consumer products industry.
- Technical Detail: Ability to handle complex UV layouts and high-to-low poly workflows.
- 3D Printing (Plus): Direct experience with 3D printing and understanding the mechanics of physical output is a significant advantage.
- Reliability: Ability to work on-site 40 hours a week in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
